COVID vaccine and public health update

Dear Rams,

Only a month until finals week, and to date our COVID numbers remain very low – thanks to everyone’s hard work now and over the last two years in following public health requirements – and the vast majority of our students, faculty and staff are also vaccinated.

During the summer, we will reassess testing, reporting and public health requirements for the fall. The vaccine requirement for students and employees will remain in place for summer and the 2022-2023 academic year, with the same option to declare an exemption for medical and non-medical reasons. Boosters are not currently required but are strongly encouraged.

Please continue to be vigilant about using the COVID Reporter if you think you have symptoms or you’ve tested positive (even with a home test). Our antigen testing pods will remain open through the end of the semester.

Take care and stay well, Rams. Thanks again for all of your work.
