Earlier this spring, the CSU System announced that COVID-19 vaccinations will be required for students, faculty, and staff for the Fall 2021 semester, conditioned upon full approval of one or more vaccines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Starting this week, all students can voluntarily submit their COVID-19 vaccine records to CSU Health Network. If you are vaccinated, we encourage you to take a few minutes to upload your record now. Please note the following information:
- Incoming students and continuing students will follow different processes to voluntarily submit their records. Complete the steps outlined on the vaccine page of the COVID website based on your student classification.
- International students currently located outside of the U.S. should consult your family members and doctor before leaving your home country in order to obtain your immunization record. Your immunization record must be translated into English.
- Exemptions will be available when the official CSU policy is in place after full approval of one or more vaccines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Vaccines are safe and effective at preventing COVID-19. CSU strongly encourages everyone to be fully vaccinated prior to the start of the Fall 2021 semester. If you are not yet vaccinated and are not able to get a vaccine over the summer, there will be on-campus vaccine clinics in August. More information will be available when those clinics are scheduled.
